Gerald's Story
Hi. I spent 27 years in the USAF after school. Spent time in RVN, Thailand, Okinawa and the Philippines. In 1986, I retired at Andrews AFB, MD where I was the Avionics Manager supporting the presidential fleet. Along the way I earned my FAA pilot and flight instructor licenses (certifications). Both flying and teaching were a lot of fun. I was divorced within a year of retiring from the USAF.
Next, I worked in VA for a consulting firm in support of the Navy. Five years later I moved to FL and am still here. I retired from the FL DOT as the traffic data collection manager.
I had married again in 1989 and my wife, Gwen, lost her battle to Cancer Oct. 8, 2005.

Jan 2, 2011. We had 2 dogs and 2 cats, but they are gone..
I've began ballroom dancing in 2006. Lynda began in 2008 and we began shag dancing in 2009, square dancing in 2010, and added Round dancing in 2011. We've been doing a bit of traveling. We go on a square and round dance cruise every Dec. Have attended 3 National square dances and many state square dances. Have toured Costa Rica, Panama, Hawaii, The Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore-Yellowstone-Grand Titons-Salt Lake City, and will tour New England immediately after our 60th reunion,
We spend the summers in Blowing Rock, NC, and winters in Daytona Beach, FL
I'm very active with the Church, Lions Club, and Habitat house building.
