Jerry's Story
Life
I am now a gentleman rancher, having retired medically as an attorney after 20 plus years. I worked so hard, I blew up my brain!!
I am on my third wife and have 2 step children, along with 5 horses, 2 cats and one darned fine dog. I live in Spokane, Washington (the sunny part of Washington) on a 10 acre ranch. My step-children are in 7th and 8th grades, so I also am a bus driver each day.
Nevertheless, I am usually bored out of my mind, so find spending time on the net is most enjoyable. I long to get back to my roots in Colorado and buy every John Denver CD I can find. That, my friends, is my life in a nutshell. A small nutshell it is, but that's it!!
College
Attended CU for 4 yrs, then on to Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA for law school. Then worked too hard as an atty and blew out a hole in a feeding tube (artery) to my brain on one dark and stormy night at work. That ruined my perfectly good short term memory. Now happily retired on disabilities retiremet funds.(BUT I STILL HAVE MY LONG TERM MEMORY ITACT - WHEW!!)

Update 11/21/12: It's now a few years later and : the step kids are off in college; the 5 horses are down to 3 (hopefully none soon ?? Can you tell I hate them, but they came with the wife, so .......). I find every excuse I can to fly back to Colorado these days, Feel the need to "get back to my roots" I guess. Actually I truly love shuttling my parents to and from Brighton and Phoenix, as they are Snowbirds and I'm a wannabe snowbird. That' it for 2012 I guess.
Update 07/16/14 Dad passed away last year in a fire in their home in Arizona and Mom was severely burned. She is recovering slowly, but surely and living in Brighton. Can't say much else new. Still three bloody horses. Step-daughter half way though college, doing well, and 22 yr. old step-son doing nothing, staying at home. Some people take longer to grow up and learn to fly from the nest I guess??? Doing in home care for my Mother-in-law here in Spokane this summer, then shuttling her back to Tuscon when it cools some there. .
