Jerry's Story
Dear Visitor to My Classmate Profile,
I am married and have lived in Scandinavia since 1983. I owned my own Internet Design / Software Development business - based in Denmark - until Dec. 2006, when I closed shop. I retired in 2008.
Short account of my life since 1967:
67-72: St Pete JC (Clearwater Campus) / USF / part time Clearwater Beach bum.
72-79: frequent, extended trips with backpack around: W. Europe, N. Africa and E. Africa; work between trips on various construction projects in Florida.
80-90: extended trips to: W. Europe, N. Africa, E. Africa, S. Africa, Indian Sub-continent (India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka), China, Mongolia, Russia and Scandinavia; work between trips (80-90) as Geophysical Consultant for Multi-National O...Expand for more
il Companies in: Canada, Sudan, Morocco, Kenya, Israel, Sicily, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
91-16: based in Denmark, extended trips around Scandinavia, Central Europe, and numerous trips (by rental car) across the U.S.; work at Niels Bohr Institute / The University of Copenhagen on GPS Satellite research projects (93-94); start own Internet business in 1996 (96-06), working with: e-commerce solutions, CRM-software, CMS-software, databases, Internet design and comm. strategies, outsourcing (India). I closed my business in 2006 and retired in 2008.
I do miss old friends, my family and the Florida Sunshine sometimes, but otherwise I am, right where I want to be.
