Review
"Told with the fluency and vividness of a compelling novel, I Said "I Will" is the memoir as literary art. This powerful book evokes the sound and fury of timeless and universal truths about what it means to be a human being seeking justice, coherence, and safe harbor in a precarious world."
-- Mark Spencer, author of The Weary Motel, Love and Reruns in Adams County, and Wedlock. Winner of the Faulkner Society Faulkner Award and the Omaha Prize for the Novel.
