More about Jes:"I'm changing my information "About Me" because ... well, I'm slowly changing as I get older. A lot of myself is still the same, but I believe I am more aware of many things in my life.
I constantly reflect on all my past experiences, but I really avoid thinking about them or dwelling on them. It the people that are no longer in my life anymore ... then, it's for the better. I've come to a conclusion that I will never make everyone happy. So I changed some of my ways and stopped trying to please everyone.
I've realized that it's time to focus on making myself happy, and really avoiding people who may be: negative, a back-stabber, otherwise (a hater), or even biased or judgmental, specifically, those who just don't want to be happy for me. So, basically I surround myself with "good people", ones who let me be who I am without trying to hurt me in any way, shape, or form.".
