Jess's Story
Life
After college, I went to med school at U of WA and have been to Denver for my residency in Family Medicine. I'm currently working in Tacoma WA. I married Rachael in 1998. We have two boys: Griffin born in March 2001, then Henry born in Sept 2002. Rachael and I are expecting a girl in Dec 2004.
I'm way too busy with work, so am planning to change positions within MultiCare to work as a Perioperative Consultant (complicated patients will come to me for evaluation and recommendations prior to surgery). It should reduce my hours from the 60-65 to the 40-45 per week range.
I'm not in contact with too many people from highschool, but think about you all frequently and thought that this would be a great way to reconnect.

School
High School was certainly an intense time for me, but I really took everything far too seriously. I really started to come out of my shell after about ag...Expand for more
e 26, if you can believe that it took that long. Stanford was rigorous, but had its moments of fun. I think that most of the 'work' that I did there was really more internal, however.
Med School was really time consuming but I made some great friends.
Residency for Family Medicine in Colorado was really a great time. Lots of wonderful people and friendships to last a life time.
College
Stanford was a lot of fun, work and stress. At least I had fun procrastinating and made a lot of friends. Although I certainly don't think of myself as a 'fraternity boy', I really enjoyed belonging to KA and met a lot of great people. My regrets are that I never really explored the area or dated as much as I would have liked.
I majored in Human Biology and enjoyed the information a lot. French class kicked my butt (recall the procrastination part of the experience).
I loved sand volleyball and hanging with Frank and Floyd.
