Jess's Story
After graduating in 1971, I left Great Falls with a wife and my son and headed to school at U of M in Missoula. After about a year I dropped out and returned to Great Falls to work & support my family. In 1973 my daughter was born and I continued to work. In 1974 we moved to Whitefish and I worked in Kalispell for the next 5 years until I decided I needed to go back to college. In 1980 I returned to U of M and completed my BS in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science. That opened lots of doors and I've been working as a Financial Controller for various corporations ever since. In 1985 we moved to Bozeman where my wife & I divorced in 1989.
In 1990 I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and that has been the best move of my life. I've come to know Jesus Christ as my personal savior and now know and understand God's plan...Expand for more
of happiness and salvation. I married again in 1990 and became a step-father to 3 children. The blessings of the gospel have been enormous in my life and I am at peace.
My wife & I now live in Bellingham, Washington which is about 25 miles south of the Canadian border and at the north end of Puget Sound. The beautiful San Juan Islands are visible from here and we love to visit there as often as we can. We have 10 grandchildren (5 boys, 5 girls), the oldest of which is enjoying her sophomore year at Oregon State University. Wow how the years fly by!!
I am very happy with where I am in life, try to forget the things that I have done in the past and the people I have hurt by my words or actions. If I have offended anyone from those high school years, please know that I am sorry and truly apologize.
Live life and enjoy each day, for it is a gift from God.
