Jesse's Story
Life
I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1977 and the Naval Postgraduate School in 1983. I was married 25 years to a Hawaii tourist from Chicago with whom I eloped to Maui in 1980 while assigned to destroyer duty in Pearl Harbor. We kept our marriage a secret from our families for over a year but at least it allowed me to live off that damn ship. I twice completed the Honolulu Marathon and would like to run another before long. I'm the father of two sons, both students at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. n DC (three times), San Diego CA (twice) and Newport News VA. I've been fortunate to have visited all 50 U.S. states and 31 countries on six continents. I currently reside in Alexandria, Virginia and am employed as a Vice President of Perot Systems Corporation, Ross Perot's company. I'm a rabid Green Bay Packers fan and shareholder and try to attend as many road games as my schedule permits. I really enjoyed our 25th reunion and was disappointed there was no 30th unless I just missed it. I now really appreciate what a great place Gaston County was in which to grow up and what a wonderful life preparation experience Ashbrook High provided.
