Jesse's Story

Who I am is not much different than who I was.......older, bolder and mellowed but still loving life and people and good conversation with a warm vibe flowin' thru...father and grandfather, husband, church member and WASHINGTONIAN again! It would be interesting to see who is showing up to the reunions these days.....I came to the 25th and had a blast! The list is somewhat dwindling down - but its still good to see familiar names to not so familiar faces - LOL. How I hope old friends remember me is not as important as them JUST REMEMBERING!! I always wanted to be a artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. It's just that things never panned out that way after fatherhood. I relax by just gettin on my computer or TV or Radio or CD/DVD player and get into whatever captures my attention at that time.... the wildest thing I ever did in school was GO TO SCHOOL!!!BECAUSE IN 1979, SUITLAND HIGH WAS WILD!!!! The one person from m...Expand for more
y past who I'd most like to see again is Ms. Carol Thompson, because she was the greatest teacher and person to me...she made me want to come to school. If I won $100 million, I'd give 20 percent of it to my church, then spend the rest on my kids and grandkids education and housing, my favorite charities and then travel the world to learn and yearn. I am happy where I am - who I am with doesnt equate my happiness - because if someone is unhappy, I can try to change this for them...If I am unhappy - I will try to change either where I am, how I feel or its time to leave the scene.......there are lots to do to be happy - but the one thing that is most important to me is to think well enough of yourself to realize being happy isnt WHO you are as much as it is WHAT YOU FEEL at a particular time. CEDRIC GOODEN is the oldest continuing friendship I share...I dont know why we remain friends....we just DO. But there are more friends that i have known just as long - its just CED was the first.
