Life
Since graduation from Northern, I have lived in Durham all my life. I took early retirement from Durham Regional Hospital after 37 years. I have 2 daughters, 1 son, 4 grandsons and one granddaughter. My husband (Ken Godwin) and I also have a condo at North Myrtle Beach. We are both home now and enjoying each other's company and our family and friends.

Workplace
I worked at Duke University after graduation and then worked at Watts Hospital until it became Durham Regional Hospital. I started out as an executive secretary and retired as Manager of Medical Staff Services. I was responsible for departmental operation, coordinating activities of the medical staff and the residency program, and ensuring practitioners were appropriately licensed and qualified to perform privileges requested.
