You want to know the best part about getting punched in the face?
It's the physical aspect of the act. It's real pain, pain you can show to someone. "Hey look everyone! I got punched in the face." And it hurts. You ice it, take some pills and sleep it off, eventually the pain will subside.
But when someone metaphorically ripps your heart out of your chest, and stomps on it, you can't just sleep it off. There's no cure to heartache. And it's the worst kind of pain- and no one can see it. You can't go to the doctor- hand him what's left of your mangled heart and say, "Fix this please, Doc." People can ask you,"What's wrong?" But all you can say is, " I don't know...I guess my heart just hurts."
If I had the cure to anything.
