Jessica's Story
Life
So after high school I continued with my job at Conseco. I was working in collections there when I decided I was tired of living in South Dakota, (I hate the cold!). So I moved to Albuquerque NM November of 2000. I love it here! The average temp in the winter is about 40 degrees. I continued to work in collections here until I was fired for not meeting my quota. This turned out to be a good thing. About a month later I finally got a job as a server at Macaroni Grill, an Italian restaurant I think is better than the Olive Garden. I found that as a server I could make a lot more money and work a lot less. My next move was to go back to school....Expand for more
I started very slow working my way in at a local college. I have been in school part-time for about 2 years while serving at night. I met an awesome guy at work, Christopher Lee, whom I now live with and his pretty dog, torijane, and am very much in love with both of them. No plans to get married yet, we are both in school and would like to wait. We both transfered to the University of New Mexico this summer so my first full-time semester at a real university will be in the fall. I should graduate in 3 years and will be an elementary school P.E. teacher.
I have had a lot of fun down here and will continue to until I move somewhere else.
