Jessica's Story
Life
Well, after leaving CHS I recieved a B.A. in Spanish from OSU, where I met my husband. He was doing his Ph.D. there, and in 2000 took a job at Temple University in Philadelphia. After coming out here in January of 2001 I worked in the insurance industry for a while. I was contracted out to HSBC and Lloyd's of London. I decided to make a career change, and went back to school at Rutgers University as a post-bac student. I recieved a second degree in English and teacher certification. We just had our first baby in April. He is the greatest little guy in the world. We have also moved to Cnada. My husband took a job at a university here. r of maternity leave, because I don't know if I could leave my little boy. I get more attached to him everyday.
Besides working and being parents my husband and I love to travel. In the past three years not only have we traveled within the U.S. borders, but we have been to Montreal, Spain, and Turkey. All were great trips, and I suggest travel abroad to anyone who gets the chance.
I miss the Philadelphia area, so to all my friends back at Rutgers I miss you guys. Life there was pertty interesting. Not only do you have access to Philadelphia, but you are withing 1 hour of N.Y.C. and two hours of D.C. It was a pretty fun lifestyle. Oh well, we must all grow up and move on.
