Jessica's Story
Once I graduated from Washington High school May 1985, I went into the Army Dec 1985. Went to Ft Dix, NJ for 8 wks basic training and stayed another 8 wks for Advanced training. From there I got stationed at Ft Carson, CO. Which in is Colorada Springs, CO. I stayed there until Dec 1988. While in Colorado I got remarried and had a son. My son is now 21 and about to go into the Airforce Aug 18th 2009. My husband got orders to go to Germany, so once I finished my 3yrs in Dec 1988, my son and me went to Germany and stayed 3yrs. We had a daughter in Feb 1991. She is now 18 and just graduated June 2009...Expand for more
. She got a full scholarship to play volleyball at a 4yr University here in Texas, which is only 3hrs from our home. After Germany we went to North Carolina Feb 1992 and stayed until June 1994. My husband got orders to go to Ft Hood, TX. We have since had both our children graduate and my husband retire of the army. My husband works for the federal government in civil service on Ft Hood. Since we have been in Texas I have been working at Walmart Grocery DC in Temple, TX from Jun 1995 to present. I work in the transportation office as coordinator. I really like my job and I'm very happy with it.
