Ji's Story
Nothing much to tell, got married at 21 to a local gal, moved to mainland and lived in California, then Idaho for a while before getting homesick, and moving back to Hawai'i. Moved and lived on Big Island for a while then back to Oahu, had 2 kids, then moved to Maui and lived their for 12 years before moving back to Kailua into old homestead after my parents passed away since I was the last of 6 siblings still li...Expand for more
ving in Hawai'i. Kailua sure changed from my hanbata daze. Now get Starbucks, and Jamba Juice, Whole Foods, and no more Holiday Mart, Cornets, the old C&P Lumber where I worked. All the locals moved to Vegas or neighbor islands. Kailua has lost it's soul, became a suburb of L.A. I'm sad but there are still worse places to live so i count my blessings. Pau boring you guys.
