Jill's Story
I left Hillsboro and went to U. of O. to become a speech teacher. At the end of my Sophomore year I married a sailor in top secret work and we moved to Hawaii. I attended U. of Hawaii and then got my BA in Communications from the University of Maryland. We lived all over the world and had two sons. After 15 years we divorced. I came back to Oregon and lived in Portland for 4 years and then Astoria for 15. During that time I was the Director of an Employment and Training Program. In 1998 I got my Masters in Education. ntries and help their govenments and schools to develop better training programs and job skill development. In the last few years I have been working in Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Sudan, Kenya, Mongolia, China, Indonesia and I will be working most likely in Zambia and back to Jordan next. I have five grandkids. One of my sons lives in Astoria and one lives here in Utah. Obviously I like to travel, photography, camping, learn about new cultures, sports events, my home and my family activities. I haven't changed much. I am still short, chubby, outgoing and sometimes ballistic. And I still have red hair. Looking forward to the reunion. It has been a long time.
