Jill's Story
After high school, and Woodstock, I went off to college in Akron Ohio, and then returned to LI to obtain a masters degree in library science. That career lasted 3 years. Jump ahead to 1986 when I took over the family business. In 1999 I picked up myself and my business and moved west.
Jump again to the present -
I am living on a small non-working farm in north central Illinois with my dogs and cat...Expand for more
and am running the business from my property.
I have been raising puppies for Canine Companions for Independence for the past 8 years - now on #7. I've learned a lot about myself from these sweet, little ones with such an important purpose in life.
A few years ago I realized that I was still a hippie and always would be. Life has been a bit of a challenge and I wouldn't have it any other way.
