Jill's Story

Life Hi, After H.S. I went to work. I met my husband in May of 1975,and we married Jan. 1976. We were blessed with 4 children...son, daugther, son, daughter. I was blessed to be able to stay home and raise my children. It was important to me, and I feel great accomplishment from it today. When our youngest was in the 6th grade, I went back to school, and I earned an associate degree in Information Technology. I am a computer geek, and love it. In my 30's I took up rappelling, hiking, backpacking and such stuff. I was a priss growing up. It took me years to enjoy getting dirty. The hardest thing I've ever had to deal with is the death of my twin brother Jack in Nov 1999. We remained close throughout our lives. I miss him desperately. My Faith sustains me. My husband's job took us to Atlanta Ga. in 1984. I like Georgia, but Port Huron will always be home to me. My mother still lives ...Expand for more
in the house I grew up in. It would be fun to hear from anyone I went to school with, or if you were friends with my brother Jack. Jack loved school, and treasured his memories. I didn't love school, but I am sentimental over childhood memories, and I feel a kinship to those I spent so much time with in class. :) You might have gone to school with one of my sibblings. It would be my pleasure to send along a message. Diane was in the Northern's first graduating class Barbara Class of '71 Sandy 72 Bob 77 Renae and Jamie went to P.H. I was married to a wonderful man for 30 years, but became a widow in November 2005. I married a widower with 2 grown sons. We have 9 grandchildren from my 4 children alone, and anticipate more. :) I (we) still try to get home to Port Huron a couple of times a year since my mother and 5 sisters still live in the area.
