Jill's Story

Life I'm married with a 4-year old boy and a 2-year old girl (as of 2007). I met my husband Paul on the golf course. We've been married since 2001. We bought a house in Deer Park in 2004 (I just couldn't leave!). I've been teaching business classes at Deer Park High School since 1992, and now I'm just about the oldest teacher in the building. ouse. Hope all is well for everyone; wishing you health and happiness. School Loved high school. Best time of my life. Influenced me to become a teacher. Loved my friends, our school involvement and my teachers. Had no bills then!!! College College was no big thrill. I'm a true Long Islander. Got my MBA at Dowling, my BS at Hofstra, and my AAS at SUNY Farmingdale. Nothing to brag about. Workplace Loved my typing classes in high school and became a business teacher. Never imagined that I'd be teaching at Deer Park High School, but I've been here almost over 15 years now. Love teaching at DPHS; love the kids. Military No military experience for me, but God bless the men and women who serve our country. They have my utmost respect.
