Jill's Story
Life
Marc and I have been blessed with a healthy family. God continues to bless us as our kids grow up and become young adults.
Our oldest daughter, Melanie, is 21 and is in her 4th year at UC Berkeley (Go Bears!). She is looking forward to graduating in Dec 2005, and will continue onto law school. A Conservative in a very liberal land, Melanie is a member of the Berkeley College Republicans and is the Editor of the Cal Patriot- the campus's conservative magazine. She is having the time of her life- for all of you who are getting ready to send your first off to college, it is the hardest thing you will ever do in your life, but is also one of the most rewarding things. This is what we raise our kids to do.
Our son, Nic, is 17 and is a senior at Kennedy High School. At 6'3", he plays football and is their long snapper and offensive tackle this year. He continues ...Expand for more
to concentrate on his academics and prepare for next year when he will decide what his plans are for post-high school. He wants to go on to play football in college- but his heart lies with the Culinary Arts. He would love to go to cooking school and someday own his own fine restaurant.
Our youngest daughters are our twins, Maddie and Whitney, and they are 14 and are 9th graders at Pacifica. They will play basketball for the Lady Mariners. They are also very active in the church that we attend, Seacoast Grace Christian church.
Marc is teaching and coaching football at Loara High School in Anaheim. He just completed his last season of coaching basketball (at least until our girls are out of high school).
I've been working at Waste Management for 19 years now, in Human Resources.
I hope we are able to get together a 25th Reunion next year.
Take care,
Jill
