Jill's Story
Updated on January 1, 2016
After having been a stay at home mom for several years, I went to KVCC and got a health / science certificate (associates) in 2010. In June of 2015, Istarted working for GoodWill Lifeworks, which is a day program, as a direct support professional. I absolutely love my job! My job has taught me a lot about other people and myself. My clients, co-workers & bosses are all very special people and I'm thankful to them for all they've done and continue to do for me.
I have a 20 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter...Expand for more
. They're both intelligent, good kids. My son is a student at KVCC. My daughter is pretty much a mini me personality-wise, but she looks like a combo of both her father and me.
I was married for over 25 yrs when I decided I was ready to move on and be more true to myself with who I am and what I want in life.
I've gone through a lot of changes over the last year and a half, but most of them were in the right direction for where I want to be in life. I'm happy in my family, work place and life in general...and that's what I needed.
