Jill's Story
Right after high school I started apprenticing for a few horse trainers. I went to college half-heatedly because I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do. I ended up starting my own business training horses and giving people riding lessons. The business was great because it paid for my college courses. I finally decided to be a nurse practicioner.
Just as I was getting into Nursing school, I met my husband, who is from Minnesota. He was in San Diego on vacation and we met in a bar on Cinco de Mayo. We did the long distance relations...Expand for more
hip thing for awhile, and then he convinced me to move to Chicago. I finished LPN school in chicago and am working on my BSRN so I can get my Nurse Practioners License.
We are moving back to San Diego a few weeks before the 10 yr reunion. Three years was too long to be away! I left my horses in San Diego with my parents and accumulated 1 more while I was in Chicago. I had my horse in San Diego bred while I was away, and the baby was born in April this year. She is hilarious and very cute!
