Jillian's Story
Goodness! Where to begin?...
My husband and I own and operate a working mini-ranch and bed & breakfast facility outside of Jacksonville, OR. We raise show quality miniature donkeys, pack llamas, angora goats, and show quality nigerian dwarf dairy goats. Currently, we are working on remodeling the house we just bought, and rebuilding our old barn. Besides selling animals that we breed, we also sell fiber, eggs, produce, soap, goats milk/cheese, heirloom vegetables and seeds, and botanical products. We are working on being 100% self-sufficient.
However, there is more to me than farm life (though it's a life I do LOVE)! I have had an amazing existence filled with unbelievable adventures. I followed my dreams to wherever they led me, floating on the winds of fate. In that sense, I was free. ...Expand for more
During my life, I found my other half; my soulmate. Though I am much more settled than I have ever been before, I know that this too is only temporary. I have many more adventures in store!
I guess I should also put in a brief word about my numerous tattoos: I do not just "get" tattoos. Each tattoo I have ever chosen to place on my body has been a carefully thought out piece. They represent major events and decisions in my life, as well as showing a part of my religion. What we have in this life is a beautiful but brief thing - it IS what we make it. To quote a movie line, "Life isn't about how many breaths you take; it's about the moments that take your breath away." Amen!
