Jim Jr.'s Story
Life
First and foremost...Hi kids. To try and write a bio about yourself is kinda hard without not trying to brag. But what I do know is that all of us have had busy and interesting lives. I know I have. Been places and done things I never would have dreamt of doing coming from Lincoln Heights. But what I'm most grateful for is that I'm still here, and also that you guyz are still here to read this. What I do know is that its time we get together and catch up. Let's face it kids...we're pushing 50. I just wanna say let's get it together and talk a bit. It's been to long. But in a nutshell, after high school, I went to college in the northeast, Minnesota to be exact. Came back and decided to take a break. That has lasted 28 years. I have been in the transportation business for the last 23 years, as a driver and now as a dispatcher. Used to be a bouncer for a while. There are some stories there. But my life has been a trip. But there is a lot more to talk about and I hope to get together with everyone real ...Expand for more
soon, email me here at classmates and let's catch up!
I've been trying to get a hold of some old friends lately, so far I've been pretty successful at doing so. But there are so many other old friends I would love to hear from. Please, if you visit my profile leave a note where I can get a hold of you so we can catch up. I've already lost a few friends over the last couple of years and now is the time to catch up!!
College
After leaving Lincoln, I went to East Los Angeles College where I had the good fortune of being a part of the 1974 State Champion football team....that's played a big part in my life cuz that's something not everyone has a chance to do....I graduated in '76 and went on to Bemidji State University, which is in Northern Minnesota..stayed in the great white north for two years. Played a little football up there as well, and worked on my education. But living in that part of the country opened my eyes to the reality of the world. I got the best education on the best subject.
