Jim's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the Marine Corps. That was a hoot. Went to Memphis,TN, Virginia Beach,VA, and then permanently stationed at Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. Tough break! From there I was deployed to Japan, Korea, Guam, Okinawa, Philipines. All very interesting places. Learned real quick that we are very fortunate to live where we do. Met my future wife in a bar near Waikiki Beach while I was in the USMC. Her name is Kim and she is from Augusta, GA.

wife and I married in 1990. We have 2 children, Emily Aubriana and Jeffrey Nicholas. I wish now that we had not waited so long to have kids. They are a real joy. It is so much fun watching them grow up and learn new things. Watching my son's face light up when he rode his bike without training wheels for the first time was something I will never forget. And watching my daughter do a tap dance at a talent show made me prouder than I have ever been.
I started an electrical contracting company in 1996 and have been at that ever since.
