More about Jim:"I had to recreate my profile so it is still a work in progress. OMG with recent events that's a lot like me... Thanks to my family and friends for loving me, accepting me, and being part of this journey called life. Don't mistake DNA for family. Don't mistake a conversation as a friendship. I have some DNA family that doesn't qualify as much more than some one I know. I have some friends that are really family. People either love me or hate me. I can be in your face, bold and to the point. I can also be quiet and diplomatic. I have been to black tie dinners with high power politicians and celebrities. I have also sat in a park with the homeless. I am comfortable in either situation. I am sort of a chameleon. I can blend into most any situation. Trust, I am no boy scout but I am true to my family and friends. (refer to definition above) If you fall into those categories, I got your back. I can't handle people who hide their head in the sand, religous zealots, hypocrites, or talk behind my back. If you have something to say, say it. Be HONEST... I can handle it. You may not like my response but trust it will be honest. ...Expand for more
POLITICS. I lean left but have some common sense also. I believe in social responsibility, not social support. I believe in promoting and protecting our own before the rest of the world. RELIGION. I believe in God or a higher power. The bible is a great historical work. I believe that God will listen to me on a Miserable Monday, Fabulous Friday, or any other day of the week. I don't have to sit in a building to have that relationship. He accepts me for me. He has to, he made me and he doesn't make mistakes. RELATIONSHIPS. I have had good and not so good relationships. They are a part of my "baggage" and I wouldn't have it any other way. Every relationship I have had has made me stronger, smarter, and more self reliant. There is just one that has totally broken my heart... I am still working on that recovery... My sexuality doesn't define me. It is part of me. I don't wear it on my sleeve so don't wear yours on your sleeve. Some say choice, some say by birth. All of us are born the way we are, choices are in being ourselves, accepting ourselves, and loving ourselves. AGE, I am forever 69 or is that doing 69? LOL. Not really, I am 48. That is a number that means I have been through a load of life's experiences. More importantly I have learned from them. There is a load of stuff I haven't done YET. I plan to keep doing the fun stuff as long as it isn't in the cold. I HATE the cold. If my age bothers you, your loss. Bottom line is that I am old enough to do anything I want. I don't answer to anybody but consider everybody. Well love me or hate me?, you decide! No matter what you decide, I love me.".
