Jim's Story
OK, here's the quick "summary" since graduating from Brady in 1983.
I went to Hawthorne College in Antrim, NH (initially went for aeronautics but quickly decided to change my major to Computer Science). I worked at a toy store and then NH Federal Credit Union while going to college. In the Spring of my senior year at Hawthorne (87) I got a new boss at the credit union, Pam. Long and short, we fell in love, got married and have been married now for 19+ years.
We have 2 boys, 7 and 13, who both play travel hockey, go to Catholic schools here in the Manchester area and generally keep us busy.
We live in a small town west of Manchester and luckily, we both work here in NH. No nasty commutes for either of us which is nice. We built our dream home about 5 years ago and based on the economy lately, hope we can still afford it! ;-p
I got my Master's in Computer Information Systems a couple of years ago from Boston University and now again have a student loan to pay off! :-o ...Expand for more
Ah well. IT (Information Technology) has been good to me, not the most thrilling job in the world for either me or my wife, but it pays the bills.
I have flown many small planes (private pilot - although haven't flown any since 2000 - too expensive!), was a firefighter for 6 years in the early 90's, love handguns and shooting and lately I read, A LOT. Yes, I have many "safe" hobbies. ;-)

I forgot to mention that I just started working for Boston University this Fall (2008) as an on-line facilitator. This is in addition to my "day" job. ;-p
Basically a facilitator is looked upon as an "online ambassador", responsible
for overseeing my assigned students, answering student questions on course content, and being a visible "presence" in the class. My role is similar to that of a Teaching Assistant. If you happen to be enrolled at BU for on-line CIS, you may see me in BU Vista!
