Jim's Story
After college, I worked as an urban planner and economic development professional in Ohio for 31 years. I retired from my planning director job for 2.5 months in 2001; then it was off to a second career managing large school construction/renovation projects. I wrapped up a 10 year, $250,000,000 set of projects...completing on schedule and under budget! Retired in early 2012. I was a driver on road racing circuits (Mid-Ohio, Road America, Nelson Ledges, Inianapolis Raceway Park, etc.) for many years, but sold my race car in 2007. During the time I was racing, I also "worked the corners" as a communications and safety person. (For you road racing fans, corner workers are the folks out near the track dressed in white)
A few years ago I returned to Wisconsin to live in the Northwoods and enjoy life in a rural, wooded and water filled setting.
