Jim's Story
Anyone from the class of 1980 knows me best as one of the drummers in the band (both Marching and Jazz). After HS I went on to join the Air Force and spent 2.5 years in England at RAF Upper Heyford (Air Force Base). While I was there, the James Bond movie Octopussy was filmed onsite at the base while I was stationed there (The circus scene). Since I have been out of the Air Force I have worked several temp jobs in the computer industry which I have been involved in for the past 23 years.
I currently live in the Seattle Metro area in Washington State (Kitkland to be exact). My most current work has been at Microsoft testing software and maintaining Software Test Labs.

My other big hobby is listening to and collecting Rush Music. I recently saw them on tour in both 2007 & 2008 on their Snakes and Arrows Tour. I have collected roughly $1,000 of Rush music and memorabilia. Including an autographed promotional photo. In the process of my collecting, I have developed several contacts within their organization in order to keep on top of what's next for te band. It's been a lot of fun.
Sadly, I no longer have a drum kit. I had to sell it when I left the Air Force to pay a debt, and regret it to this day.
