Jim's Story

Thanks for visiting. My High School was Casa Roble graduating in 1969. The first graduating class. After Casa, I went to Sierra College in Rocklin then off to Chico State. Over the years I worked as a city planner and school planner in public agencies for 30 years before starting a consulting business for the past 10 years. I retired in July 2014. I am married with two children and 5 grandkid. Our retirement home will be in Redding Ca next to the grandkids. I enjoy working on old cars. I have a 65 Chevelle that goes to...Expand for more
shows and the old Morris Minor that I drove to high school. I recently started working on an old 62 Chevy truck. It should be ready in about 2 years. Check back to see if it's done. There is a car show at Casa very spring. If you have a car lets get together and go together I ride road bikes (bicycles) for fun and exercise. Not far or fast but the outfit looks good. I can go about 75 miles a week. I help Wayne Johnson put on the yearly Class reunions. They are for 1969-72 classes. If you want to help send a note.

I helped my son in law move his 67 Mustang from the body shop to the muffler shop. He is making progress. It might be done for Kool April nites in Redding this year.
My Grandson is graduating from High School 2020. There will be a drive by ceremony and a small social distancing party. He is headed to Boise State with an academic scholarship. Boise State has decided to open their campus

I road with the Shasta Wheelmen in the Fall River Century yesterday. I managed to complete a Metric Century plus 15 miles for 80 miles. Great fun with this riding group but I am pretty tired today.

I got up early this morning to do yard work while on quarantine. After an hour of work I went in the house and I could not figure out why everyone was laughing at me.
