Jim's Story

Life After grad from St. Gens. went to college for a while and worked and played in L A. Surfed a little and skied a lot. Decided to move to Mammoth and live in a ski resort. Moved there in 1973 and worked at the ski area for a season. Great place to live if you like four seasons- June, July, August and Winter. Started a business, went well, bought a working ranch in Yerington, Nevada in 1981. Raised alfalfa hay, grain, fresh market onions, onion seed, horses and cattle. Sold the Mammoth business in 1988 to do the ranching thing full time. Got married...Expand for more
in between all of this stuff. Sold the first ranch in 1994. Got divorced. Got cleaned out "$". Bought a new ranch and and started a General Engineering Construction company. Married a fantastic woman- the love of my life- have a few children two boys and two girls 6 thru 18. At present time all is going well farming and contracting and living a great life. Yerington, Nevada is about one hour south east of Reno, Nevada. It kind of reminds me of how the valley was when we were growing up. So long for now, Jim. College Pierce College Valley College
