After graduation I worked in retail until I was drafted into the Army. After the Army I decided to get into Finance. I worked as a stock broker, but couldn't see myself taking advantage of folks like the other brokers, so I founded an auto leasing company specializing in exotic cars (my hobby), but leasing all types of vehicles to a variety of clients, including several large banks. After learning about banking I founded my first bank at age 32. I sold it a few years later for a tremendous profit and moved my family to Northern California. I thought I would retire, but 34 is too young to retire, so I got back into the finance business starting a mortgage banking company. A few years later I founded my second bank and merged my mortgage company into the bank. After 5 years I sold out my interest in the bank and thought I would retire again. My wife's brother was getting a divorce and needed to sell his company in Riverside County that built and installed garage doors in new tract developments.
