Jim's Story

Life I've been in the emergency medical field since June of '86, and I love it. For those who was acquainted with me, isn't this scary? JIM HARPER works in the emergency medical field. Well, guess what? I'm also trained in drawing blood from people. Now, isn't that scary? I get to use sharp needles, and draw blood from people. Seriously, I'm actually very good at what I do. I just use a lot of humor in my life. I'm still single. I'm still looking. I had some ...Expand for more
possibilities with some great women, but it didn't work out. I know there is someone out there. We just haven't met yet. I'm a proud uncle of 3, and cousin of many. I'm still a bit shy when it comes to the introduction part of meeting and getting to know someone. But, I'm not the shy skinny kid everyone may remember from school. I actually open up and talk now. In fact, once I get acquainted and get to know people, I bet there are times they wish I would shut up.

I know it's Tuesday, and not Throwback Thursday, but, I found this misplaced photo and thought I would put it up. Look at them mutton chops I had. This was taken June 14, 1978.
A holiday light display where I work.
Considering what today is, I thought it would be good to share this. My grandfather, Dale Ellis Dunsmore, was in the Navy, and at Pearl Harbor 76 years today. The watch in the photo was on his wrist on that day. The expl

Are you freaking kidding me!!!!!!!!! It’s October the 4th!!! Now I understand why my maternal grandmother hated the holidays!!
I have another animal buddy. This was the second time in one day that Grumpy, my aunt’s bird, climbed onto my arm on his own and sat there without seeming scared. Please excuse my truckers tan lines. 🤣
Family will understand what the photo of my Barracuda cap, and the photo button means. R.I.P., Cousin. You were taken from us WAY too soon. People were able to hear the smile in your voice.
Happy Birthday, Grammie. You were taken from us 26 years ago. We have missed you since the day you left us. I hope you are having a good time celebrating your day today up there in Heaven.
Frenzy posing with friends at the San Jose Barracuda vs Ontario Reign Calder Cup Playoffs. Second game, round one. The teams are tied one game each.
This is my Stanley Cup Final Playoffs viewing party free swag I got at the Shark Tank. It was a hard fought game on both sides. None of the goals were easy goals for either team. Penguins draw first blood with the first
