Jim's Story
Well, it has been a great journey so far.....we left Auburn in 88 so that I could complete college in California. I graduated in 91 from Sonoma State University with a BA in Economics and Management. I then went to work for Chevron in a technical sales position in California, then Texas and finally back to Redmond in 94. In 96 I took a huge leap of faith and joined a small internet start-up in Kirkland, WA. We were bought out 3 years later and I then joined another Internet company shortly thereafter.....I am now working for Sprint in pretty much the same role, working in the data networking field as a solutions engineer......basically it is a technical sales position for Internet, Wireless and Private Networking to businesses. It is pretty cool work and I am involved with a lot of the latest technologies....which I love!

e have two wonderful kids, Steve (21) and Kaity (16).....Steve is a Senior at Central Washington University, majoring in History and Political Science.....Kaity is a Junior at Lake Washington High School and is a total Type A driven person....she is taking 2 AP classes, is involved in Soccer, Drama, Choir and also Outdoors For All, a program where she instructs people with disabilities on how to ski. She is thinking seriously about going into Sports Medicine or Physical Therapy.
In my spare time, i love to ski...in fact, Steve and i are going on a trip to Utah & Jackson Hole, WY toward the end of January with some of his college buddies and one other Dad.....it is going to be a fun trip.
