Jim's Story

Life It's amazing the changes that take place in our lives. I graduated from San Gorgonia HS in 1972. I went in the Coast Guard in 1973, and met my wife Ginnie while in the Service. We were married in 1975, and have been happily together ever since. We have two grown sons, and two grandkids with another on the way. I'm an engineering manager for a large defense firm in Tucson Arizona, and teach mathematics and business classes at the graduate and undergraduate level for the University of Phoenix. look back, it went by in the blink of an eye. I met my wife Ginnie while in the Coast Guard. She was stationed at the district office and I met her on a blind date that RM2 Dave Johnson and his girl-friend (now wife) set up. We've been happily married since 1975, have two grown sons and two grandkids with another due in September. After getting out of the service, I spent way too many years getting educated, but it paid off. I have spent 20 years making missiles with the Raytheon company and I'm currently the manufacturing engineering manager for the Standard Missile program. I also teach evening classes in mathematics and business for the University of Phoenix in my adopted hometown of Tucson Arizona. Please contact me if you wish. Jim
