Jim's Story
After 32 years in active parish ministry, I took early retirement from the Episcopal Church. I now live with my wife Ginger and our three children in Pomfret Center, CT, in northeast CT.
I have a part-time parish position, and just started getting the training offered by the Boston Bartender's School. I also have a part-time job at a Lowes Home store....outside lawn and garden for the spring, summer and early fall.....cashier for the winter. What a pain in the -a- learning the cashier stuff has been!
The photo is with my brother Dave...Expand for more
(Class of 1971) during a motorcycle trip we took to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park in 2003. I was hit by a car while on the motorcycle in July of 2005. So, with the settlement, I said goodbye to motorcycling and bought a Honda S-2000 sports car. Now I just need to find a racetrack (like Watkins Glen in NY) so I can get the S-2000 going as fast as it can go. It has way too many RPM's left when I'm doing 65 on the interstates! P.S. My first car was a Chevy Vega........the aluminum engine block was a bad move on Chevy's par!
