I almost didn't graduate from North, Stanley P. was trying to make me get a haircut. A ton of butchwax and bobby pins though got me through the ceremony, though. I graduated from U of A in 1974 and went on the road playing music. Married for the 2nd time in 1987, went back to school, got my Ph.D. in social psychology. wn as "swarm intelligence" and am first author of a book by that title. Two kids now about to leave the nest, 18 and 19 years old. We live in Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington DC, where I work for the federal government. Luckily, I get to travel a little bit. My hair's still long, though there isn't nearly as much of it as there used to be.
