Jim's Story
Immediately after graduating from SCC - Milford in '77 in Manufacturing Engineering Technology I was hired by Cessna Aircraft in Wichita as a Tool Designer. Moved back to Plattsmouth after a year and resumed working at P-M Auto Supply / Big A Auto Parts until the mid '80s when I married Joan Sexton (a teacher). We lived in Omaha, Hooper and Lincoln while I worked for the Big A Auto Parts system in various capacities. . in York where I was a Regional Sales Manager / Director of Sales. In '08 we moved to Olympia, WA after I was asked to work with and eventually purchase PenTech Associates, an existing rep agency. In 2012 I took control of the business and changed the name to Ketcham Equipment Sales Company. I sell industrial dry bulk material handling equipment in a territory that includes WA, OR and N. ID. Joan and I have raised four great kids but aren't quite empty nesters, as our youngest will be a H.S. senior this fall.
