After I graduated in 1966, I went to work as a mechanic for the Harley-Davidson dealership in Detroit. After 2 years, I joined the Marines. My MOS was aviation radar repair and spent almost a year in electronics school. I was very lucky and spent all 3 years in Southern California. After I got out I came back to St. Clair Shores. I spent 2 years "finding myself", being a hippie, hitch-hiking across the country, and just generally goofing off. Finially I moved back to California to escape the winters. I have only been back home a few times since then. There, I worked for a small electronics startup, where I function as the unofficial Chief Technology Officer. I was their first hire and did everything but Sales. Finally I got serious and got a degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Chico.
