Jim's Story
Life
Dear Panther Lake and Lake Youngs Grade School, Meridian Jr.High and Kentridge classes of 1970-1972. I am sure I owe some of you amends for various behaviors I am responsible for from 1967 to 1972 and perhaps to some even up to to 1985 when I accepted that I had the disease of addiction and alcoholism. To all of you to whom this applies I offer my apolgies and wellingness to make any amends necessary.
I would like any of you that have any concern for yourselves or any loved ones that through God's Grace and the program of AA, I have been able to believe that nothing well come down the pike of life that a drink or a drug will not make worse. I have been clean and sober since Sept.9th, 1985 and any of you can feel free to contact me if I can offer any help regarding this disease in you or your loved ones.

aths of immediate family members, etc. etc. I was granted the strength to not pick up a drink or drug, when 22 short years ago I was a totally hopeless dairy farmer in Sedro Woolley, with no clue as to why I had turned into the man in the mirror that I absolutely hated. Had it not been for my two kids ages two and four at the time I am sure I would have taken my life during this most depressing and puzzling period of my journey.
My third wife and I met in AA. Together we are experiencing and trying to accept the challenges that life affords blended families. Though we have no children together, our two previous marriages have blessed us with 8 young people that we have had the opportunity to influence in some way or another. Trying to let them live their own lives has not always been easy, but we try to "Let Go and Let God" on a daily basis.
