Jim's Story
After high school .........I thought awhile about college....then decided to take the other route and actually work for a living.....I got married in 1979 to a girl from way out West...Basehor,Ks (remember- halfway to Tonganoxie) Went to work for G.M....got layed off a bunch....Worked at a couple of other factories in K.C.......Then in 1988 our son was born ....It was a joyous occassion enjoyed by all.....Along about 1991 I got this crazy Idea to move to Tennessee..(G.M. kinda helped with that decision)..That turned out to be the best decision of my adult life so far..I have remained married and General Motors has been kind enough to pay me a wage that allows me to supp...Expand for more
ort a family and allowed me to pursue my hobby of old cars and hot rods. I survived my sons teenage years (whew)..He was kinda like me always in a little trouble but real close to big trouble..He has matured into a fine young adult. He graduated from a local Technology center here in the area with a diploma in the field of electrical maintenace. I will end this story now with a famous quote from my favorite actor Porky Pig.."d...d....daaa...Thats all Folks "
