Jim's Story
After graduation, I went on active duty with the US Navy, spending 3 years as a radioman in the fleet. After getting out, went to MSAC until I got accepted at Pomona Police Dept, where I went from Patrol to the Detective Bureau, retiring in Dec of '75 as a Homicide Detective, after injuries in a helicopter crash. Upland, known first as Kwik-Kopy Printing, then as Jimmy The Printer, until after her death in May of 2005...I sold the shop and am now working part time at Pomona Valley Hospital, in the security dept, naturally....Am seeing a widow, who was born and raised in Germany, and brought here as an Air Force wife...we have been to Germany and travelled in the States....Anyway, not much more exciting details to add.....
