Jim's Story
After High School I went to Bemidji State College for two years. I met my future wife at Bemidji state. My draft number was 4, the spring of 1972 I caught Mono (the kissing disease), I didn't finish the quarter. September 72 I got a "welcome to the Army" letter from Uncle Sam. I spent two years in the Army field artillery in Germany. After the military I went back to the U of Minn. But quit to work, since I was married and a father of a beautif...Expand for more
ul daughter. I went back to school and finaly got my bachelor degree from Bethel University in 2006. My wife, three daughters and 6 grandkids all cheered loudly when I walked up on stage to collect my degree.
My favorite non-work activities are to go to the cabin and go fishing or swimming, I also enjoy going to Breckenridge Colorado to ski or hike. I also enjoy traveling to the Virgin Islands where my middle daughter, husband and 3 kids live.
