Jim Martin:

CLASS OF 1965
Phoenix, AZ

Jim's Story

Life Great year for turning 60. Where did the time go? Isn't life great? At least it has been for me. I have a wonderful wife who has hung in there with me for 35 years. We have two children and five special grandchildren and a old boxer dog. I still live in Phoenix, my wife, son and daughter all graduated from Arcadia, but I still love em. Although I attended Camelback for three years and four weeks I didn't get the opportunity to graduate from that awesome school. Four weeks into my senior year my father went to work in Indiana and drug the family along with him. I went to Portage High School in the north western part of the state attending classes two hours a day for four months. I graduated in January of 196...Expand for more
5 and headed back to Arizona to thaw out. (I still consider Camelback to be my high School). I've kept myself busy over the years working the last twenty five in the facilities arena. I worked for Motorola for 22 years (until most of the facilities were either sold off or closed down). Since that time Ive been a regional facilities manager for AIG. So far in life, I've been blessed with good health. I enjoy photography, the grandkids, construction, the grandkids, golf, fishing, the grandkids, my dog (l love boxers) and of course the grandkids. Well enough about me. If you happened to read this you'll notice I still haven't improved on my writing skills. I'd love to hear from anyone interested in saying hi.
