Jim's Story

How fast life goes by. When I served in the military (Berlin, Germany 64’ to 66’) it changed my life from building fast cars (Snoopy in High School) to a pursuit of gaining knowledge. Starting college as a “late bloomer” at 23, and completed my masters degree and on to a seven year career in banking, then changed my career and entered the Real Estate Industry as a Developer, Builder and Owner. Forty (40) years later I continue to work every day and am Chairman and CEO of two public companies (NYSE:WS...Expand for more
R) and (OTC:PRLE), along with a private Investment Company. I also lecture at the University of Chicago’s Booth Graduate School of Business, and am an Adjunct Professor at the Jones Graduate School of Business, Rice University, Houston, Texas. My wife Christine and I live in Houston, Texas and have a second home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Raised four children, and have my first grandchild. I became a Christian in 1978 committing my life to Jesus Christ. I would love to hear from any of my classmates.
