Jim's Story

Hello to various friends and ex-classmates! I've been in Atlanta area for the past 20 years, trying to maintain "Ohio" presence within the "Deep South". Considering all the football coaches with Ohio backgrounds down here (in the ACC, SEC and other conferences), it's been relatively easy--though rooting for the Buckeyes and Browns (especially the latter) sometimes is tough! To the surprise of many, I got a degree from John Carroll then MBA from Baldwin Wallace and now am global sales director for Thermo Fisher Scientific. Also surprising(to me, at least), I'm still employed and held in decent regard by my peers and scientists to whom I sell my instruments!! My edu...Expand for more
cation has not gone to naught since I have a restaurant guide (allright--perhaps better characterized as guide to excellent saloons with very good restaurants attached) that's available to anyone who'd like to email me at work--you'll have to "google" me. If you're headed to San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, Atlanta, London, Paris, DC, southern California, Boston, etc., etc. I may have some suggestions for you (still a bit weak on Bankok and Beijing,tho and "lost" a bit within Cleveland). Still married to Kathy (nee Wollschleger)--40 yrs and counting with two kids (one w/own business in Atlanta, the other TimeLife NYC). Hope to see many of you at 2010 reunion in August.
