Jim's Story
Life
After high school I performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps for 2 years - 1987 and 1988. After that, I joined a relatively small high-tech company named KLA Instruments and I have been there ever since. The company is now called KLA-Tencor and is based in San Jose.
When I started at KLA I only had a few college credits to my name, so I had to finish both my undergraduate and graduate degree on a part time basis. I finally got my MBA from SJSU in 2000. I've had various finance ...Expand for more
positions at the company from Ops Controller to Division Controller, and currently I'm a finance director working on improving financial business processes.
I got married in 1992 to Jennifer Hyatt who graduated from Wilcox High in Santa Clara in 1988. We met playing softball on a coed team and are both sports junkies - softball, volleyball, tennis, etc. In 1995 we had our first daughter and in 1997 we had identical twin girls as well.
Currently we live in San Jose near Campbell with a dog and 3 cats...
