Jim S's Story
I left Monticello after graduation and did not return. Most of my fellow alums had spent their
lives there. I was never able to develop roots. I decided to leave , largely because my family was in turmoil. I tried to create a life for myself, on the other side of the state. Although I can not possibly fill you in, I will say this. I am deeply indebted to more than a few of you.
Thank you to Gary Z. ( I refuse to butcher the spelling of your last name.) You got me the job .that filled my sneaker with enough cash to get me through my first 2 semesters at SUNY Fredonia. God bless you . I miss so many of you for different reasons .Arthur H. You were the student that I thought I could be, if I had a chance. Unfortunately, I barely made it through.
I worked full time and went to school full time. I worked in restaurants and I taught trumpet at a local music store.( One of my students was my future brother in law). I miss Karen K.

nt, and that you
could have been near me. You are so sweet and I wish you the very best. Heschel L.(again, I refuse to butcher the spelling). You were an amazing intellect. I'm sure you did more than okay! God bless You!
I could go on, but I have to get busy. Believe it or not, there are some little ones who need me.
For now, until I hear from you,....suffice it to say. here are some basic pieces of information.
I'm married to the same woman, for about 46 years. ( sorry Dad, but it was never a competition to see who could have more wives!)
We have 2 daughters and twin boys Sadly Sean died in 2009 after an accident at age 24
We have 6 grandchildren Ages 1 through 19.
I served on the Board of Education in Dunkirk ( clerk for 4 years) I am now facilitator
of the pascal council at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church. I'm retired from the Post Office
in Mayville New York..... and my feet are still killing me after serving for 28 years
As my son Sean Patrick used to say...Peace out
