Jim's Story
What HAVE I been up to???? Life I guess. College, U.S. Army (2years), college, Air Force (18years) including three university assignments. For a guy who disliked school I wound up with 5 degrees. My 20 years in the military resulted in 13 major moves with assignments all over the U.S. as well as much time in Europe including England, France and Germany. After leaving the military I went to work for NOAA as their Program Manager for the Polar Orbiting Weather Satellite Program. I also served as the Technical Team Leader for the NOAA POES satellite program at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. I have two great kids, Patrick and Kasey, who are both married, college graduates and excelling in their careers. My wife of 43 years Patti passed away in 2014 from cancer. I recently retired, do occasional consulting work, restore vintage Corvettes (still like fast cars) and I have a small antiques business.
So many many funny memories from high school days but here are a couple involving me
... (1)Kevin Suddarth and I were the only ones in three years to be kicked out of choir class......(2) being banished from Giuseppe's East for getting into a fight in the parking lot.......
