Jim's Story
Life
Graduated, went to FSU for 3 years, dropped out for a year, rode my motorcycle around the country for the better part of a year, lived in New Orleans, Los Angles, Santa Barbara, went back, studied in England, graduated, moved to Breckenridge, Colorado. Worked a season at Keystone, ran into Melody Dunn in Breckenridge. Moved to Berkeley California. Worked as a technical writer for a software company. Spent my time backcountry skiing, climbing, and racing triathlons. Quit software firm and drove to Alaska on somewhat of a whim with Chip Pealer. He left for the Peace Corp. a week later, I stayed for 6 months. The last week I was there, I met a girl and kept in touch with her while I was in the lower 48.
Drove back down and worked another season at Keystone Resort. The girl I met moved down to Colorado. The next summer, we drove back to Alaska. I worked on some fishing boats- Lo...Expand for more
nglining and Scalloping. etc. Drove back down to Colorado, worked another season driving buses and working construction- ran into Kyle Moss (Gabi Putzeys old boy friend) in Keystone. Drove back up to Alaska (with same girl), worked on a pig and reindeer farm, and at a coffee shop, did a lot of ice climbing and backcountry skiing. Bought 5 acres of land and built a cabin with a buddy of mine. Left AK in middle of winter and moved to Phoenix. Got married to girlfriend Jessi in Kalispell, Montana. Drove back to AK. Left AK in mid-winter again and moved to Colorado again. Lived in a camper (illegally parked) with wife and two dogs for the better part of two winters. Bought a house and ended up with my sister and my sister in law living with us- not to mention a few others (it is fun). My friends and I do a lot of ice and rock climbing, backcountry skiing and biking.
I miss all of you.
